Alison Hartley
Alison is a Partner within our Personal Injury team and has over 34 years experience handling a range of Personal Injury cases.
Education & career
Alison graduated from Sheffield University in 1985 with a 2:1 in Law and went on to complete her finals at the College of Law (Chester) 1986, before qualifying in 1988 with another Manchester based firm.
Alison joined the Personal Injury team here at Potter Rees Dolan (or Hugh Potter & Co. as it was known at the time) in 1999 and was promoted to Partner in 2007. She has a special interest in high value head injury claims and, with over 34 years in practice, has extensive experience of handling claims on behalf of clients injured through criminal acts, road traffic accidents, cycling and ‘leisure’ related accidents, accidents at work and has recently dealt with some fatal accident cases. Alison also has particular expertise in dealing with claims on behalf of children and Polish nationals.
Outside of work...
Alison enjoys good food, with Thai or Malaysian food being firm favourites. Her ideal evening would be likely to involve a trip to her local pub and a meal with her closest friends. She enjoys cycling, travelling and music.
