Inquests: Their role and importance for the client's loved ones

The recent article in the MEN newspaper highlights the vital role which an Inquest plays in tragic or unexplained deaths.

The circumstances surrounding the death of a loved one are often the most important details to family members and the Inquest process aims to highlight exactly what happened in the hours, days and sometimes even weeks and months leading up to a death.

Knowing what happened can be of some comfort to bereaved families however it can of course be upsetting to hear if a death was contributed to or caused by another person’s actions or even negligence.

Here at PotterReesDolan we understand how important the Inquest process can be - read about a case of ours also featured in the MEN newspaper.

We always try and offer advice and support in relation to an Inquest as part of our work investigating fatal accidents caused through both personal injury and clinical negligence.
