Over the weekend, the Mail on Sunday published an article which heavily criticized the amount of money paid out by the NHS to victims of Clinical Negligence, and in turn the size of the costs bill that is paid to the firms who represent such individuals. In our latest blog, we reiterate that without such claims, poor care would go unchecked, there would be little to no accountability, and there would be little hope of improving standards. And that ultimately, the human cost of these avoidable errors far outweighs financial cost.

NHS Resolution report highlights failures in fetal monitoring as main contributor to brain injury at birth

A new report published by NHS Resolution at the end of September has provided an analysis of maternity cases passed through the organisation’s new Early notification scheme within the first year of its launch (2017/18). Blue badge scheme extended to those with 'Invisible Illnesses'

As of today, the government is expanding the blue badge scheme to include a variety of invisible or hidden illnesses. This means that thousands more individuals will be able to register for a blue badge, which will give them access to disabled parking spots all around the UK.
