A new campaign has launched which highlights the issue of uninsured young drivers through a short video.

The 'Gone in Seconds' campaign aims to make young people aware of the consequences of driving without insurance from losing your car to losing your friends.

In the film, we see an uninsured young male driver who is taking his girlfriends and their friends home after a night out.

He is pulled over by police after they use an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) device who then seize the car.

The MIB hope highlighting the risks uninsured drivers face, including losing their car and annoying their friends, might persuade them to insure their vehicle.

The microsite for the campaign provides drivers with tips on the best deals of insurance cover as well as more consequences they could face if they drive uninsured.

The Motor Insurer's Bureau (MIB) launched the campaign after seeing an increase in the number of claims from collisions involving uninsured drivers.
