Why the issue of cyclist safety is so important to me

We were really pleased to be able to work with Brake as it’s such a well-known charity and does great work for road safety.
The blog I wrote for Brake’s website was a great platform for us to highlight the importance of cyclists’ safety and the serious injuries cyclists sustain on the roads.
My main concern has been the high number of cycling injuries in and around Manchester as shown in the recent statistics which you can read about in the blog. Cyclists’ injuries are disproportionately high compared to other road users and is why we decided to get involved with this awareness campaign.
Through my work at PotterReesDolan, I have seen first-hand the devastating injuries suffered by cyclists and the long term effect upon them and their families.
