Greg Poole was very kind and considerate during the process of applying for Court of Protection to be able to use my Mum's money to benefit her, due to her dementia and there being no power of attorney.

Potter Rees Dolan were recommended to me from The Brain Charity, and though my Mum sadly did not make it to the point of being able to benefit from this, Greg was nevertheless sympathetic and kind when I sadly had to withdraw this request, even offering to further help with probate matters. Would recommend to others in the future.

I have really valued Greg's prompt and decisive responses to the numerous and various requests I have sent in his direction. It is truly refreshing to work with such a responsive Deputy who really ‘gets it’!

My involvement with Potter Rees Dolan, arose in respect of matters arising from a serious brain injury, which I incurred some years ago. Rachel Rees acted for me in respect of Personal Injury litigation arising therefrom; and Ruth Wright continues to represent me in related Court of Protection matters.

As a former, senior solicitor (now retired by reason of the accident) in a major international law firm, I have a fairly good idea of what to expect from lawyers – and PRD most certainly provides it!

Rachel’s efforts produced a positive outcome, for which I am very grateful. I found her to be highly competent and personable. Regarding the latter, I now consider her to be a friend, rather than just my former solicitor. Our relationship is ongoing, by reason of our mutual roles in the brain injury charity, Headway. As lead volunteer in my local branch of this organisation, Rachel certainly knows a thing or two about brain injury and this hardly goes amiss in respect of her representation of the brain injured!

Again, I find Ruth’s expertise and personality to be second to none. She hasn’t always told me what I wanted to hear, but I have every confidence in the appropriateness of her advice. In my view, such fearless honesty is a characteristic of an excellent lawyer!
